Erik’s practice focuses on commercial and real estate transactions, business mergers and acquisitions, entrepreneurship, business development, private securities and land use planning.
Erik was previously the chief legal counsel for a private Idaho-based commercial investment company involved in startup enterprise incubation, commercial real estate securities investments, and management of over two billion dollars worth of commercial property throughout the United States.
Erik began his legal career as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Missouri and later served as a commercial litigator for a St. Louis area law firm that specialized in defending businesses in complex litigation matters.
Born and raised in Boise, Erik is actively involved in the community. He was chair of the Boise Area Salvation Army Community Advisory Board. He is an active leader in the Boy Scouts of America (Troop 315). He was Founding Director of the Idaho Citizens Law Academy, a community education program sponsored by the Idaho State Bar. He also served as President of the Fourth District Bar Association (Boise Area Bar). He currently serves as District Chair of Partners Against Domestic Violence.
Erik was honored with the Idaho State Bar Outstanding Service Award in 2001. In 2003, he received the “Accomplished Under 40” distinction from the Idaho Business Review. |
