Amaia represents clients in a broad range of civil litigation matters. She works closely with clients at both the pre-litigation and litigation stages to assess the claims and defenses at issue, analyze the applicable law, and develop strategies aligned with the client’s objectives. Alongside her civil litigation practice, she maintains a growing focus on data privacy law and its application to business operations, commercial transactions, and litigation.

Amaia received her law degree from the University of Oregon School of Law in 2024. Amaia joins the firm with diverse civil litigation experience, including construction and commercial disputes, as well as insurance defense matters involving employment, professional liability, trucking, and medical malpractice. Before entering private practice, she served on the commercial transactional team of a Silicon Valley based cybersecurity SaaS company where she negotiated commercial agreements and supported data privacy-related matters and internal generative AI initiatives.

Outside the office, Amaia enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her family.
