Kristen McNeill is a land use and real estate paralegal who helps guide complex development projects and commercial real estate transactions through every phase, from contracting and due diligence to title review, entitlements, permitting, and closing. She manages multiple projects concurrently and coordinates with governmental agencies, title companies, utility providers, and architecture, engineering, and construction professionals. Her experience spans residential development, large-scale commercial and energy projects, and complex data center and semiconductor manufacturing facilities.

Kristen researches zoning and regulatory issues, evaluates title and development risks, reviews real estate and development agreements, and creates maps, exhibits, and presentations for clients, agencies, and other stakeholders. Drawing on her background in land use planning, architecture and design, construction management, and real estate, she brings a practical, multidisciplinary perspective to problem-solving, team collaboration, and keeping complex matters moving forward.

Before joining Givens Pursley, Kristen supported planning and entitlement work for development projects at a local civil engineering, landscape architecture, and surveying firm. Her earlier experience includes construction project management, overseeing design and construction projects, budgets, schedules, contracts, consultants, and subcontractors from initial planning through closeout. She also held project management and leadership roles with a nonprofit professional organization, where she managed contracts, programs, budgets, vendors, and large-scale events.

Kristen earned her Bachelor of Architecture from Virginia Tech.
